Sierra: Compassionate Care for Families
Caring for others has always been the thing that has brought her the most joy in life. As the eldest of eight siblings Sierra is no stranger to prioritizing the needs of those around her.Â

Sierra is a native of Detroit, Michigan and found a home in Hampton Roads, Va by way of military ties. A passion for caring for children developed at the age of 13 and that has blossomed into working in several childcare facilities as a teacher, assistant director as well as a Center Director, being a private nanny for several families and caring for family members throughout their experiences with being a new parent or navigating bringing home new siblings.

Sierra's love for caring for young children also guided her through receiving a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University.Â
Like many others, Sierra was initially foreign to the existence of a Doula without realizing she has served many families and friends with this work unaware it had a title. As a mom of two who had no family around at the time, Sierra realizes how important postpartum work truly is and understands the need families have on various levels.Â

Sierra is a certified ProDoula Postpartum & Infant Care Doula as well as a certified ProDoula Labor Doula and training to be a certified ProDoula Childbirth Educator as well as Infant Feeding Educator.Â
It's Sierra's passion to make her life work serving families whether through labor, postpartum or education by providing them with judgment free compassionate care guiding them through their new normal while helping them see all of their strengths in what could be uncertain times.Â
Sierra is newly engaged and looking to expand her family in the near future.Â
